Celeste Doaks

Celeste Doaks earned her BA from Purdue University and her MFA from North Carolina State University.

Doaks is the author of Cornrows and Cornfields (Wrecking Ball Press, 2015), as well as the chapbook American Herstory (Bull City Press, 2019). 

The editor of the anthology Not Without Our Laughter (Mason Jar Press, 2017), Doaks has received fellowships from Yaddo and Fine Arts Work Center. Also a professor and content strategist, she lives in Baltimore.
