Aldo Amparán

Aldo Amparán is the author of The House Has Teeth (Alice James Books, 2026) and Brother Sleep (Alice James Books, 2022), winner of the 2020 Alice James Award and a finalist for the 2023 Lambda Literary Award for Gay Poetry. 

The recipient of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and CantoMundo, Amparán lives in the border cities of El Paso, Texas, and Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico.
